You have not mentioned your reservation category but still it won't matter much because with this rank you couldn't get a seat in veterinary department as last year the closing rank was around 9380 for Veterinary College, Shimoga (Sc(Rura)) category.

Hello student. You did not mention the place or category. But in general, 38000 rank is a bit high. So, there are very less chances to get veterinary colleges as such. But if there are any quotas available such as state or sports quota or any reservation, your chances might improve.
