I have got 526 marks with 35129 air and 19940 general category rank. Will i get any government medical college in up state quota?

Hello aspirant,
Your score is not bad and also not too good to secure you a seat in government college for sure. Taking in account of the previous year cutoffs you have chances in two government colleges. In Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical Institue the cutoff was 469 last year and in U.P. Rural Institue of Medical Sciences the cutoff score was 492. So you have chances in these colleges from state quota. In all other government colleges cutoff was higher than your score. But the cutoff varies every year so Hope for the best. The cutoff changes every year depending upon the number of candidates appearing for the examination,the category of the candidates and the difficulty level of the examination.
If we take into consideration the previous year data,you have fair chances of getting government Medical College under State Quota.

Dear Aastha, in 2018 under State Quota an All India Rank of 4362 secured 469 marks and secured a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya Medical College under General Category. That was the cut off for General Category. Now with a AIR Rank of 35129 it is difficult for a seat in a Government Medical College. You can get a seat in a Private Medical College. Having said that, cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors like no.of seats availble, no.of candidates appearing for the exam, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. But if you can help us wih your State Rank, we can help you. But with 526 marks you should be getting a seat in UP. You can check the cut offs of various colleges at:
