Fact is that there is no any chance for govt. College.. IF you got less than 90 percentile... But yes you can get private college..

Hello Aman,

Congratulations for the results.

55 percentile is not a bad score but it is difficult for you to grab a seat in any government college. As getting a seat in a government college needs to score more  than 70 percentiles. If you are in general category than there is no chance of a government college though if you belong to any reserved category than there are some chances of you getting a seat in any government college.

You may get a seat in a government college only in the special round of the councilling if any seats are left and you are lucky enough to get it. Also if you are able to get a seat in government college then you have to compromise with the branch ( such as Biomedical, fire, etc) as all seats in good branches are filled very quickly.

Though if you belong to any reserved category then there is a chance of you getting a government college with good branch and that also for sc/st category.

It also depends on your home state as there is a home state quota also in which you may get a seat if it applicable to you.

You must also try in some good private colleges and for further information you can also use the college predictor to get an idea which college you may get

Hi

At this percentile your rank will be very high as far as JEE Mains 2019 is concerned. If you're a general candidate, if you have very low chances to get any of the Government Colleges through JEE Mains 2019 rank. Further you cannot appear for JOSAA with this rank. Better look for some good private colleges.

Best of Luck.

Hope this helps.

Cheers!

Hello aspirant,

Your score is not good enough to get admission in any college with jee mains rank. I don't think that any college will give admission with this rank. The cutoff is very high for government colleges and you dont't have that rank. So you better try somewhere else or give a try next year.

Thank you.
