Hello aspirant , I hope you are doing good.

Your percentile of JEE mains january session is not good for NITs colleges.

For good college in NITs , you need to get more than 95 percentile and for desired college in NITs , more than 98 percentile must scored by you .

You can also apply for private college, get a scholarship to reduce your fee structure .

Still there is April session, so work hard and keep on practising, solve last 10 years of JEE mains questions so as to gain confidence and idea about the paper.

I hope this helps.

HELLO MANI
Sorry to say that with your present percentile its difficult to een qualify JEE mains.
do not worry still is an april attempt left try to grab a better percentile.
other than JEE exams various reputed institutes conduct their own entrance exam like SRM coonducts SRM JEE. VIT vellore conducts VITEEE. if you want to0 get some good colleges like RV or Ramaiya in karnataka then you can opt for COMEDK which is a very easy exam.
ill give the list of all engineering entrance exam in india

since it is very difficult to predict the exact rank but we do have a backup> we have a formula to calculate the expected rank that is (100 – Total percentile) x 869010/100.

So according to formula your expected rank for present percentile for January session comes out to be 279821  . Now the expected rank might change depending on the no of candidates appearing the april session. For ex if 12 lakh candidate appear the april session then just replace 869010 by 12 lakhs. But if you score above 85 percentile then you have a very decent chance of qualifying jee mains.

HOPE IT HELPS!!

Hello,
Your expected rank will be around 279821.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100
Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.
In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear so your expected rank can be calculated using the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

You may not even qualify JEE main with such percentile. You must have 85 or above percentile to qualify JEE main and to get seat in NITs your percentile must be above 95 percentile. So you will not get seat in NITs.You need to appear in April session and do well.
