No bro...I also gave this year jee mains and got 96 percentile ... Which is very poor in reality...
I m taking a drop and can suggest it to u also if u really wanna land up to a good institute...
As per iiith is concerned... It may put a cutoff for around 800-1000 rank.... So its definitely above 99.92 percentile or so...

If you are a general category student then, you don't have any chances of getting admission in any NITs or IIITs based on your jee mains percentile score with any branches.
Try for admission in private colleges.
