Hey Kritika.

See since VIT is a private institution u can take admission in most of the branches until they get filled. With this rank u will be able to get many of the good streams but not the top software ones in the Vellore campus. U can take the top ones only by the management quota. If u want the software streams then u must be heading towards the Chennai campus.
