Since you have not mentioned any name of counselling. So i am giving general answer. 

Yes you will retain your seat until you have not got any seat in any upcoming rounds of the counselling process. You should not worry about your seat it is given to you and can't ne taken until and unless you get new seat or you leave the seat.
