Hello aspirant,
For giving JEE Mains, you do not need to have knowledge of computer. You must give mock test before your final exam to understand how to answer on computer. But you do not need to worry about it.
But I would like to suggest you that you must learn computer as it is very important in today's world.
Thank you
Hope it helps you.
Hello student,
If you're worried about what the engineering branch is going to bring if you don't have knowledge of computers, then don't worry. The JEE Mains exam basically tests you on Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, and when you get admission into B.Tech, then there are many other branches you can apply in other than Computer Science.
However, if you're concerned about the mode of exam, then also don't worry because many test centres hold the JEE Main exam's practice sessions and practice papers. That will give you ample amount of opportunity and practice of attempting the paper in CBT mode.
Also, you can view this opportunity as learning something new. There's no age of learning, and getting exposure to computer knowledge in the technology age will contribute to your learning and skills.
