Hi dear,

You have to not only sit but also clear jee main for sitting in jee advance. If you clear jee main then you will eligible for NITs and if you clear jee advance then eligible for JEE advance.

Hey,
No you wont be allowed to appear in JEE Advance if you haven't appeared for JEE Mains. JEE Advance is eligible for only those students who have appeared in JEE Mains, the same year and cleared it.

No you can only be eligible for jee advance once you successfully qualified in jee mains. Hence you need to give both exams. However if you have given jee mains then it is not necessary to give advance too.
