I have paid 205000/- for deemed and AIQ in round 3. But i am not able to see any DNB options in the program. Why !?
Hello there,
It seems like you have paid the fee for admission under the Deemed University and AIQ category in Round 3 , but are unable to find any DNB (Diplomate of National Board) options listed in the program. Here are a few potential reasons for this:
1. DNB Not Offered by the Institution :
-
Some universities or institutions may not offer DNB programs, especially if they are focused on other courses.
DNB
is generally offered by hospitals or institutions that have a tie-up with the
National Board of Examinations (NBE)
.
-
Check whether the particular university or deemed university offers
DNB
programs, as some medical colleges may only offer
MD/MS
courses or other postgraduate specialties.
2. Course Availability in Counseling Round :
-
The
DNB program
may not have been available in
Round 3
of the counseling, or it might not have been included in the options for that particular round.
-
DNB courses often have limited seats and may be offered in specific rounds depending on the availability of seats and the institution.
3. Choice Filling and Options in Counseling :
-
When filling choices during counseling, DNB options may not be listed or may appear in a separate category. Ensure that you select the correct options related to the
DNB program
if available.
-
Sometimes, the
Deemed University
may offer multiple postgraduate courses, but
DNB
may be limited to certain specialties, which could be why it doesn't appear.
4. Technical Issues or Delay in Updates :
-
It could also be a
technical issue
on the counseling portal. The program may not be reflected on your page due to a delay in updating or a system error.
-
Contact the admission helpline or the counseling authority to verify if there is an issue with the website or the program offerings.
What to Do:
-
Contact the Counseling Authority
: Reach out to the official admission helpdesk or the counseling authority for clarification on the availability of the
DNB
program in the round you participated in.
-
Verify the List of Courses
: Double-check the list of courses offered by the institution and ensure that the
DNB
program is available under your chosen category.
- Check for Upcoming Rounds : If DNB programs are not available in Round 3, there could be chances in the next rounds.
Make sure to clear any doubts with the authorities to ensure you're on the right track.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.
If you paid for Deemed and AIQ in round 3 of NEET PG counselling but cannot see any DNB options, it could be because either the specific college you chose does not offer DNB programs under the AIQ/Deemed category, or there might be a technical error with the seat matrix displayed on the counselling portal; you should immediately contact the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) to verify the availability of DNB seats at the colleges you selected and troubleshoot any potential issues with your choice filling process.
- Check the seat matrix carefully:
Before locking your choices, carefully review the seat matrix released by MCC to see if the colleges you selected under AIQ/Deemed category actually offer DNB programs.
- Contact MCC support:
Reach out to the MCC helpline or online support portal to confirm if there is a technical error with the displayed seat options.
- Verify eligibility criteria:
Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria for the DNB programs you are interested in, including your NEET PG score and specialization.
- Consider other options:
If the issue persists, explore other colleges offering DNB programs under the AIQ/Deemed category and adjust your choice filling accordingly.
BEST OF LUCK!!
