According to the relaxed eligibility criteria, to get admission into NITs and CFTIs, JEE Main qualified candidates are now just required to obtain a passing certificate in class 12th examinations irrespective of marks secured.
Earlier, candidates were required to obtain a minimum of 75 percent marks in class 12 or equivalent exam or they must be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 examination in order to be eligible for admission into NITs or CFTIs.
But due to Covid-19 pandemic, the eligibility was scraped for this year.
So, if you have passed class 12th with PCM and if you have good percentile then you can get admission in NITs.
I hope this helps.
Also look at the previous years cutoff marks and know will you get in the college or not to have more clarity to your doubt.
So all the best !
Thank you !
