I hear that some MBBS seat are going to increase.is this correct?

*Yes   the seats are going to increase it has been informed that 14,000 more seats are going to be added in 2020-2021.And you can verify from official Website. And this is a good news for the students who have applied for NEET UG 2020. And seats are going to increase every year as when we compare to 2018-2019 there were 60,680 seats and in 2019 to 2020 seats were gradually increased 25 % from previous year making it to 75,543. finally I  wanna covey that you don't need to worry about the seats if you are interested in studying MBBS you can go for it .

As per latest update there are increase in seats in maharashtra

In Maharashtra the total number of MBBS and BDS seats is around 7198. This number includes MBBS and BDS seats in Private Medical and Dental Colleges as well as under 85% State Quota in Goverment Medical colleges.

It is expected that by next year around 10% of the total available seats will be added. But the exam number of news seats will be known only after the release of seat matrix before counselling.

Therefore to know the exact number of increased seats we have to wait till any announcement of official notification.

As of now the number of MBBS and BDS seats distribution is

Total government mbbs seats in maharashtra 2606

Total Private Medical Colleges MBBS seats in Maharashtra 2070

Total BDS seats in government medical colleges in Maharashtra 222

Total BDS seats in private medical colleges in Maharashtra 2300
