Hi Bhimanna,

For BE in any branch, you must have done your 12th with Mathematics as one of your subjects. If you do not fulfill these criteria you won't be able to do BE in any branch let alone be CS. However, if you have Mathematics as one of your subjects and you are worried about Computer science not one of them, then yes it will create some problem for you but if you work hard on your programming for only 3-4 months you will find yourself in the ranks of those who have the subject in their 12th.

But you cannot expect your teachers to teach you the basics in BE. You should work on them from now. Use the following resources and start with PYTHON. It is the most easy language to learn.

Here are resources:-

  • PYTHON PROGRAMMER(YOUTUBE CHANNEL)
  • LEARNINIG PYTHON THE HARD WAY(BOOK)
  • DEREK BANANAS(YOUTUBE)
  • AUTOMATE BORING STUFF WITH PYTHON(BOOK)

Hope this helps.

Comment your doubts, if any.

Thank You.
