See u have opted for the chemistry discipline which is having a cut off of 37 marks for general so might not be able to even qualify the GATE exam.
Hoping about PSUs u must be having ur rank below 400 to get a job in there. For pursuing ur higher studies in the good colleges like NITs and IITs then u must be having a rank between 500- 1500 but u might be able to even qualify.
So apply for another exam for ur admission or job seeking probability. Hope u got ur point. Ask if any query.

ONGC has made an announcement about the recruitment for Graduate Trainees at E-1 level in Engineering & Geo-Sciences through GATE 2019. The online application form through GATE 2019 will open around March/April 2019. Only candidates who qualify in GATE 2019 will be eligible to apply for the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2019 and will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores, they then have to face personal interviews. Going by the previous years cutoffs and your marks, I am sorry to say this but you are not qualified to get shortlisted for ONGC.
