If your cutoff is 166 and you are trying for BVSc admission in Bangalore, then it will be very difficult to get a seat through merit.

Veterinary College Bangalore is a top college and needs a much higher rank. If you are applying through NEET, students usually get admission with NEET ranks between 46000 to 80000 for general category. Your cutoff of 166 is too low for that.

If your score is from KCET exam, then usually students need a KCET rank under 900 to get a BVSc seat in Veterinary College Bangalore. So if your KCET rank is 166, then you have a very good chance of getting a seat.

So please check whether your score 166 is from NEET or KCET. If it is NEET, then no, you won't get a seat in merit. If it is KCET, then yes, you have a good chance.

also check other veterinary colleges in Karnataka like Shimoga or Hassan, where cutoff is also around 1000 to 2000 KCET rank.
