According to the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced, the candidates must have appeared in Class 12th and scored 75% aggregate marks. For the first time, you appeared in the CBSE Class 12 board exam in 2024, and in 2025, you appeared in the 12th examination from the NIOS board and scored 75%. Since NIOS is a recognised board, and you fulfil the aggregate marks, you are eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2026 .
Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2026.
You passed Class 12 in 2024 (CBSE) but didn’t meet the 75% requirement, so you reappeared through NIOS in 2025 and scored 75%. Since NIOS is a recognized board and you now meet the 75% eligibility, you’re allowed to appear for JEE Advanced in 2026. Also, JEE Advanced allows attempts in the year of passing 12th and the following year. So as long as you qualify JEE Main 2026 and are in the top 2.5 lakh candidates, you’re eligible.

Hello,
Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2026 , but only if you meet all these conditions:
You passed your Class 12 exam for the first time in 2024 (CBSE).
You appeared for JEE Main in 2024 or 2025 .
You are giving JEE Advanced for the second time in 2026 (within 2 years of passing Class 12 the first time).
You now meet the 75% eligibility rule through your NIOS result in 2025.
So yes, you can appear for JEE Advanced 2026 with your NIOS marks, as long as your first attempt at Class 12 was in 2024.
Hope it helps !
You passed Class 12 from CBSE in 2024 but scored less than 75%, and then reappeared through the NIOS board in 2025 and scored 75% or more.
As per JEE Advanced eligibility rules:
You must have passed Class 12 in 2024 or 2025, which you have.
You must be in your second attempt, which is also within limit (max two attempts in two consecutive years).
You must have at least 75% marks in your qualifying exam (for General/OBC) or be in the top 20 percentile of your board — and your NIOS result meets that.
NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is an accepted board under JEE rules.
So yes, your 2025 NIOS marks will be considered, and you are fully eligible for JEE Advanced 2026, provided you qualify JEE Main 2026 and meet all other criteria.
