I passed my 12th this year with PCB, but now I want to do engineering...So will I have to do 11th and 12th again or only 12th for adding maths to my marksheet???.. Also will they accept physics and chemistry from CBSE and Maths through NIOS??

Hi Candidate,

It's a very common thing that Engineering colleges demand Mathematics as one of the core subjects during Inter (class 11 and 12). Mathematics is used in most of the subjects and studies in the entire engineering course, so you need to include it in your education.

If you have still passed out without Mathematics, but want to pursue it for Engineering, you can appear for a compartmental paper in Maths in the next year, and if you pass then Mathematics will be added to your educational subjects.
