For a gate score of 402 your rank must be greater than 7.5k which is not good at all specially if you are a general candidate. I don't think you can get any IIT/NIT/IIIT not even DTU or NSIT at this rank. You can try for post

graduation exams in CSE like BIT HD and IIIT Hyderabad PGEE.  M.Tech from BITS and III Hyderabad is better than doing it from lower NITs.
