Hello aspirant,

For general admission to a veterinary college, the NEET score must be 350 or higher. However, you have not stated the state to which you belong because it differs per state. In general, it falls between 300 and 450. If you apply for an all-India quota (15%), your chances of admission may increase to 400 for General category students.

So after looking at these stats it is quite difficult for you to get a seat in veterinary with score of 370.

Thank you

Hope this information helps you.

Hello,

With your expected marks around 370 and your category ie General, your chances don't seem that great to get a Veterinary seat.

Fir a General Category Candidate wishing to get a Veterinary seat in a Good Government Medical College must score above 600 marks.

------- To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every year during Counseling depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2022 result

•  MBBS/BDS/BVSc seat matrix 2022

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

Hello,

The cutoff is becoming higher every year.

As the most difficult area in medicine after MBBS, veterinary requires 500+ marks. In order to guarantee places under the All India Quota, you must score at least 500. The remaining factors are influenced by the number of seats, the length of counselling, and the number of students that attend.

Other requirements include PCB subjects in the 12th grade from an accredited board and a minimum grade of 50%.

Dear Rakshita,

Hi,

I hope you are doing well!

As you have not mentioned your category, by considering you as a general category candidate it will be difficult for you to get a seat by scoring 270 marks because the minimum marks in NEET to get into a Veterinary College are 350+ for the General category. However, you have not specified the state you belong to as it varies from state to state. In general, it ranges between 300–450. If you are applying for an all-India quota (15%) then it may increase up to 400 for General category students.

All the best.
