Hello,

With 242 marks it's tough to secure a GMC  even belonging to SC category, the reason being last year the cut-offs have comparatively high to your given marks as 489 marks secured a seat in Jhalawar Hospital and Medical College, but you hold chances for government seats in private colleges such as American International Institute of Medical Sciences Udaipur,Ananta Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre Rajsamand, Jaipur National University Institute for Medical Sciences & Research Centre, Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital,National Institute of Medical Science & Research, Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences,Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital,Geetanjali Medical College to name a few, this is purely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjective to change every year based on multiple factors like seat matrix, marks obtained in exam, toughness level of paper, total number of candidates participating in the exam etc.To know more about admission possibilities in various colleges you can use our NEET College Predictor ; https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Hi

Your profile suggest that your domicile state is Rajasthan

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 242 marks you cannot get a seat in a Government Medical College but yes you have chances for Government quota seat in following private medical college under Rajasthan state quota

  • National Institute of Medical Science & Research, Jaipur
  • Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences,Umarda, Udaipur
  • Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital,Sitapura, Jaipur

And a few more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at
