I scored 70% in board exams and gonna give improvement exam next year. So how many subjects i need to select for appearing in jee?

To take yup JEE its mandtory to take 5 subjects in PU and the five subjects are Language Physics Mathematics, ( Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subject) choose any 1 subject from the bracket, and any other subject.
