Hello
Greetings
Your percentile is 96.2 It means 96.2% student of the Total student appeared for the Exam are Behind You Therefore 3.8% students of the Total students appeared for the exam are Ahead of You, Therefore Your calculated rank is 33229.8
Your Rank would change Either Your Percentile Score is Increases in the next attempt or Number of Student increases in the Next attempt, If the Number of Student Increases to 1400000 and Your percentile remain same then Your New rank would be 53200
As per Your current Performance, You may be eligible for JEE Advance But the final cut off will be released once the JEE Main April gets Over
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
If Your Percentile Score Increases in the Next attempt Then Your Rank would Be calculated By the Following Formula
(100 - your total percentile score (Higher of two)) X Student appeared in JEE Main/100
Hope this Helps All the Best
The rank for percentile 96.2 will be around 33229(+-). The ranks can change after JEE Main is again conducted in April depending upon number of students appearing for it.
Also if two students have equal percentile then high rank will be given to whose marks are more in mathematics then physics and then chemistry. So rank can vary in that case too.
