There is no minimum percentage requirement to appear for JEE Main. You must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board in order to be eligible to appear for JEE Main. To get admission in to NITs/IIITs/GFTIs, the candidates belonging to general category must score minimum 75% aggregate marks and for SC/ST category it is minimum 65% aggregate marks. The minimum percentage requirement was relaxed for the year 2020 and 2021 due to corona pandemic.
You can appear for JEE Main 2022 regardless of the percentage of marks scored in class 12th. However, you will not be eligible to get admission in NIT/IIIT/GFTI is the minimum percentage is applicable for JEE Main 2022, if it is not applicable then you can get admission if you qualify in JEE Main. As of now it is not yet announced if the minimum percentage requirement is applicable for JEE Main 2022 or not. You have to wait until further notice.
