Assuming that you completed 12th from CBSE Boards, you got 73 percent which doesn't fulfills the criteria of your eligibility for further admissions in IITs and NITs. And if you are from any other board, then you have to check for top 20 percentile. And even if you are eligible, your expected rank must be between 2,20,000 and 3,00,000. So, if you don't have any quota i.e. SC/ST/OBC then you can not get seat in any NITs, even quota will not help you extremely. And for a positive side you can try for GFTIs of your area and other exams too.
