According to previous years cut off ranks which is subjective as cut off ranks change every year depending upon no of applicants , level of difficulty of aiims this year etc etc, so nothing can be predicted with 100% sureity, cut off rank for general category last year was 1353 ,so according to previous years cut off rank analysis you might not have a chance BUT since many new aiims are participating this year , total 15 aiims nothing can be predicted though chances are less.

As you told ,you have secured AIR 2831 and belong to unreserved category .You have less chances of getting a medical seat in AIIMS colleges ,as if we consider last year's cutoff ;AIIMS guntur had lowest cutoff for general category i.e. 1353 with 99.646 percentile.

Still ,go for the counselling because this is a estimate made on last year's cutoff ,that varies a bit every year.
