If you are interested in m.tech mining you need to complete 2 year postgraduate degree in which you have to learn about mining techniques, mineral extraction, mine safety etc.
After completing course you get roles such as a mine manager, safety specialist, or design engineer in both private companies and government sectors like Coal India.
Some of the top colleges offering an M.Tech in Mining Engineering requires b.tech graduates with atleast 50 percent marks for this course and they also offer good placement at psu like Steel Authority of India, NMDC, Directorate General of Mine Safety.
