I personally never feel it a good idea to lose a year and prepare for competitive exams. If you really want to prepare for your IIT JEE mains 2020 then it is always better to do it while pursuing a graduation course, which will act as a backup in case your JEE don't work! Best of luck!

Now this year you want to take admission for graduation for back up . You can take admission in graduation with this you also can prepare for iit Jee and appear in Jee 2020.
