Kusum, Gynaecology is a PG course in Medicine. The minimum eligibility criteria is that you should have completed your MBBS for being able to pursue Gynaecology. If you are in your 12th right now, you should appear for NEET which is the sole entrance examination for admission to MBBS Colleges across India. Even if you want to study MBBS abroad, you should still qualify in NEET. For qualifying for NEET, you should be atleast 17 years as on December 31st of the year of admission. You should also have studied Physics, Chemistry and Biology in your 12th as core subjects and secure a minimum aggregate of 50% in these 3 subjects in your 12th. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC,SC,ST. Once you appear for NEET and secure marks enough to attend counselling and you get a seat in a Medical College, you have to study for 50 months and then complete 1 year mandatory rotational internship. Next you have to appear for NEET PG. But if you are still in your 12th now, by the time you complete your MBBS, the process for admission might change becaise NMC is bringing about change in the PG Medical Admissions. SO we have to wait to see the new changes.
