1-Students are required to complete their 10+2 physics , chemistry and maths with an aggregate of 50% from any recognised board or university.

2-Candidates need to give entrances for admission in colleges through jee mains and advanced, Bitsat.

Candidates are required to enroll in any one of the BTech. Programmes.

After successful completion of their bachelor degree they should go for their masters degree.

To become a Scientist, you need to follow some of the steps mentioned below:

• Choose the science stream over any other stream in class 12.
• Complete bachelors degree preferably from Science stream.
• Then, choose for the Masters followed by a doctorate degree in the any of the science subjects.
• You can then opt for certificate clinical research or any other offered by the reputed research bodies.
• Gain some experience and then apply for reputed institutes such as research labs, IISc and relevant.
• You need to keep in mind that, a scientist can also have a varied roles. If you opt for Biology stream in your graduation/Masters/doctorate, you can make career as a scientist in this field. Similarly, if you choose chemistry or any other science related subject, you can join as a scientist in that field.
• Further, try to get admission into IISERs, IISc for the integrated research programs. This will pave a way to a bright career opportunity as you will be pursuing your degree from these research institutes only.
