Hello,

All the reputed  Institutes in India has eligibility criteria for MBA, students have to meet it before admission. General eligibility is that 50%(45% in the case of reserved category) marks in graduation from a recognized university and need to secure good percentile in national level entrance tests(CAT, MAT and CMAT, etc...) or admission seeking institutes entrance tests like LPUNEST, DSAT, XAT, and SNAP. My advice to you would be that try to improve the marks and then apply for an MBA.

Hope this information will help you.

Good Luck!

Prerak it will be a little tough for you to get admission for pursuing MBA degree in any stream specialization from any good b-school because many of the colleges have an eligibility criterion of 50+ percentage in graduation. Even you won't be able to sit in some of the MBA exams like CAT which itself has an eligibility criterion that a candidate should have 50+ percentage in 10th, 12th and graduation.

You can sit in the other MBA exams like XAT which doesn't have any criteria but still you will suffer after the exam because irrespective of marks or percentile you score in any of the MBA exams, choices to apply and get admission in b-school for you will be pretty less and the one you will be getting will not be good enough.

Still, you can do some research before starting your preparation for MBA and find out the list of MBA exams and colleges which doesn't impose any such eligibility restrictions and if you get a few good colleges in your list then you can definitely go for pursuing MBA degree.
