I want to do software job in future but i got ece branch in "nit calicut" and cse branch in "nit silchar". Which option should i select?

Dear applicant if you consider the best college out of the two, both NIT Silchar and NIT Calicut are wise choices. However your future concern is software jobs and for that Computer Science Engineering branch will be best. You will receive jobs in different IT companies, banks and other software companies. Computer science Engineering deals with design of softwares, maintenance of database and web designing. So CSE at NIT Silchar would be better, but NIT Calicut is also not a bad choice. There are possibilities of getting jobs even after ECE however CSE is the better choice.

As both college stands at the same position in every terms like Placements, Location, faculty, Infrastructure, etc. Here you will get same opportunities.

So it will be more better if you go with your interest like if you want to be a software developer the you can choose NIT Silchar without any doubt. Because here you will get lots of chance to enhance your skill as every subject is related to that field except the first year subject.

You can also do coding in ECE branch but here you have to give time to core subjects also so it will be difficult to manage the two thing at the same time.

Still the decision is up to you whether you take NIT Calicut or NIT Silchar.
