Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi is one of the colleges which offer a b.tech  in Biotechnology and assures an average package of 4-5L per year.

Biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for B.E./B.Tech. Biotechnology Graduates in the private sector. Government sector to offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which the private sector does. 

Some prominent industries where Biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry, Agriculture sector, Food Processing, and Technology as well as Research sector.
