Ignou is a trusted and recognised by government itself for distance learning.It has been approved by UGC.So need to worry you may choose ignou for your choice of degree .Taking decision depends upon your living condition and your other problems like for a house wife it is difficult to go college everyday so ignou is the place where you get the degree and also you have to only for exams.other than you can sit back at home and study.So it totally depend on your situation.Yes ignou is valid for most of the government jobs,but there are some jobs which require regular study degree.But ignou is valid for most.I hope it helped
