See it does not matter whichever subject you opt in +1 because it has nothing to do with eligibility criteria for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC but yes if you want to go with Science then let me tell you that there are three options in Science stream, first one is either you go with PCM i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or second one is PCB i.e., Physics, Chemistry and Biology or you can also go for PCBM where either Biology or Mathematics will be optional subject. So it depends upon your interest because each subject holds equal importance in Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC so whichever subject/stream you finds interesting you should go with it because whatever subject you will opt then according to it you will be pursuing your Under graduation course and according you can opt from the optional papers of your subject in Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC. But I would recommend you to keep yourself updated with the current affairs, latest news, make proper research on current topics and also make a habit of reading newspaper daily.
