I was score in class 12 maths 26 out of 80 in theory , is I am pass? Or not cBSE
In CBSE Class 12, students must score at least 33% separately in both theory and internal assessment (practical) to pass.
If you scored 26 out of 80 in Maths theory, it equals 32.5%, which is below the passing mark of 33%. Even if your combined marks (theory + practical) are above 33%, failing in either section individually means you won't pass the subject.
You may need to appear for a compartment exam to clear the subject.
Hello,
In CBSE Class 12 Maths , you need 33% marks in both theory and overall (theory + internal assessment) to pass. Since you scored 26/80 in theory , your passing depends on your internal marks .
If your total (theory + internal) is 33 or above out of 100 , you will pass. Otherwise, you may get a compartment and need to reappear for the exam.
Hope it helps !
hi ,
the passing criteria for CBSE board in when you score - 33/100 - 33% you are considered to be passed .
therefore to pass you need at least 33 marks in practical and theory combined out of 100 ,
as you mentioned - your theory marks are - 26/80 , if you have practical or internal assessment then those marks would be added to these marks and a total would initiate .
If your practical/internal marks are at least 7/20 , your total would be 33/100 , which means you pass .
If your total is below 33/100 , you may need to take a compartment exam in maths.
hope this helps
