Don't Miss: Best Public Engineering Colleges
Hello Akhil, Scoring 74 percentile isn't a good score. You can prepare and give the upcoming jee mains that will most probably be conducted in Jan of 2021. So there wouldn't be much time lost for you. Or else getting admission into a private college and preparing for jee is also an option but since it's just a matter of 3 months i personally don't recommend this option.
You can also give your state engineering entrance exam and try your best there. If you really want to get admissions into top engineering colleges and you believe in yourself that you can prepare for it in 3 months or in 5 months( jee mains attempt 2 2021) then only take a drop or else join a best suitable private college and prepare for jee mains simultaneously so even if you don't clear jee there will be not much loss of yours/ Hope it helps!
