No the chances are very less through HPCET because most of the govt. seats in the core and demanding branches are filled by the JEE itself and after that if seats are left you can get the seats but according to the scenario of every years govt. seats are filled fast and hardly very few govt. seats will be available. So if you want to appear in HPCET then you can but I would suggest you not to depend upon the exam for the govt. seats and ultimately the results will be known only after the exam and counselling.
