If a person has home science in his high school board exam and he gives single subject exam maths, can he apply for India Post GDS

For India Post GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) recruitment, the basic eligibility criteria include:

1. Educational Qualification: A candidate must have passed the 10th standard (Matriculation) from a recognized board with Mathematics and English as compulsory or elective subjects.

2. Other Requirements: Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in the local language are required.

If a candidate had Home Science in high school but later took a single subject exam for Mathematics, eligibility depends on whether the exam board considers the updated marksheet as equivalent to a regular 10th pass certificate with Mathematics.
