If I a student has gap year between 10th and 11th.how many times is he eligible for jee main and advance

See that is not the criteria they look for. They will check the date of birth and then the year in which the candidate has passed class 12. These 2 factors determine eleigibility for JEE Main. If you are eligible for JEE Main and qaulify with the given cutoff, you can appear for JEE Advanced.
