This would be unwise decision on your part. Out of my personal experience I would say that you should attempt maximum questions from biology and chemistry part however attempt at least 40% questions of physics.
You won't get good marks if you skip physics. However you would be eligible.

It won't be really wise to do so because physics is not always necessarily tough and whenever this is the case to maintain the level of difficulty chemistry gives a hard time. So the best is to be a jack of all trades.

Well, you would be eligible but i suggest not to do it.
You would need to score about 550 min ; and without physics it would be really hard.
My suggestion is to do the basics and obtain a minimum score of 80 (easy questions directly from NCERT), and stress on Biology for the ranks.
However ensure you maintain an accuracy more than 80-90% as negatives can harm you.

Please don't do this. Take your Physics strong because biology and chemistry is scoring for everyone but physics is deciding. So if you skip this subject, you'll get a bad rank.

Give equal importance to all the subjects. Prepare well. All the best.

you will be eligible ofcourse, but to be practical you wont get a seat in any good college, unless you score really well in other subjects and you belong to reserved category like SC or ST.

No. If you skip the questions of physics your marks will shift to very low and rank would shift to lakhs . So dont do this. Solve previous years papers of neet ug,marks the frequently asked topics of pghysics, solve its numericals and study it more and more. Read the solved examples given in ncert book of physics.
Do thia you will score good in physics section..

Good luck..

Hi Dharaneish

It is not recommended that you skip an entire subject in the exam. Even if you get one question right, you can be placed higher by 300-400 ranks, which gives you an advantage.

Hope this answ question!

Dear Dharaneish, yes you can do that if you assure full marks in your biology and chemistry. But that's not practically possible right. So its better you attempt the physics questions. Otherwise you'll get very bad marks and not get admission in any medical college. So all the best for your exams and give it your best my friend.

Hi,

No

You have to take Physics, Chemistry and, biology as subjects in 12th to become eligible for NEET.

And in NEET physics questions will be asked, for that also you should learn it

You may not be because there is single question paper and if you become absent then you'll have no attendance record. So avoid such ideas.

If you are asking about skipping studying Physics, please don't do this. It would be a blunder. You need to have good concepts of all three subjects because competition in NEET is quite tough. Most of the qualified candidates have almost similar marks in biology. Chemistry and physics serve as a tie breaker. Physics is very much scoring. Pay full attention to all three subjects. Discuss with your teachers the problems you are facing.

And if you are asking to skip Physics section in exam, even that would be no less than a blunder. Qualifying cutoff is 50th percentile which means you need to be in top 50% of total candidates to qualify the exam. And skipping Physics won't help you.

Try giving equal attention to all the chapters by skipping one subject it will be very difficult to score a good mark.try at least to solve 25-30 questions in physics.
All the best
