Hello Abhishek,

Abhishek could you please post your marks for an accurate result.

Before coming to the point that you will get a seat or not I want to share some data with you.

The total availability of seat for B.arc from JoSSA in NITs is 848 only which will remain 431 for open category. And the number of students who to appear for the test is 1,45,386 so the selection ratio is roughly about .003.

Now coming to the number distribution in the paper is as follow

  • Mathematics number of questions 30 each of 4 marks that means 120 marks.
  • Aptitude number of questions 50 each of 4 marks that means 200 marks.
  • Drawing section which is a total of 70 marks.

Summing all these numbers means a paper of 390 marks in which percentage wise

  • Mathematics take 30 percent of the total.
  • Aptitude takes 51.28 percent of the total.
  • And the rest roughly 18.72 percent of drawing.

Abhishek if we talk on the most positive side that you score about 95 to 98 percent in both combines aptitude and drawing which would be around 270 marks and its 95 percent would be around 255 marks (remember we are taking most positive situation. If you could post your marks then we could predict a more accurate answer for your query. And also I have taken zero in mathematics as according to your answer.)

According to our JEE MAINS Architecture rank predictor, your rank will be around 1,217-1,517 in the open category and you stand around 98.2 to 100 percentile.

It seems quite promising that you will qualify for this exam. (On the bases of the above hypothesis, which is based on your given information.)

Please post your marks for a better and clarified result.

The above-predicted rank could differ a lot from your actual rank because it is base on an assumption that you provided. I will repeat please post your marks for an accurate result.

So Abhishek I guess the data provided above is quite enough to clarify your doubt.

It would be a lot easier for us to predict a more accurate rank if you post your marks.

All the best for the future.

Best regards.
