With score of 180 you seems to have decent chance of getting seat in core stream and non core stream under OS AND FEMALE QUOTA.If you are elligible for state quota then it is good otherwise no need to worry..Try to score 180-200.

You must target minimum 200 to get a good branch in NIT Trichy. Now that JEE mains will be conducted of 300 marks, time is not going to be a problem. So, target a minimum of 200 for good branches. 180 marks might get you a seat in branch like metallurgy but why take the risk. Target 200 for JEE mains and you'll definitely get a good branch in NIT Trichy.
