well that depends on what the rank of your dental college is in your state. if its rank is around 1st`or 2nd ,i.e, just below the medical colleges, then you have a chance to get upgraded to lower medical colleges, as the seats fill up in the order - medical colleges then dental colleges. but that totally depends on your rank and preference of choices given by you , also the dental college that you have been allotted.
