Hello,

Yes, you can get a college with marks if you belong to any specific category, which will improve your chances for admission. If you choose a specific college, it also increases or decreases your chances according to its cutoffs. But if you belong to a general category, this mark might be a close call.

I hope it clears your query!!

With 106 marks in AIAPGET 2025, your chances depend on several factors like the cutoff, your category (General/OBC/SC/ST), and the subject you applied for (Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Siddha, or Unani).

Here's a general idea:

  • If you're from the General category, the cutoff is usually higher, often ranging from 120–150+ marks, depending on the year and subject.

  • For OBC/SC/ST categories, the cutoff can be lower, sometimes around 90–120 marks.

  • Some private colleges may still offer seats even at lower scores, especially in less competitive subjects or during mop-up rounds.

  • Government colleges are harder to get into with 106 marks unless you're in a reserved category and the subject has lower competition.

So, if you belong to a reserved category or are open to private colleges, you may still have a chance.

Hii,

At 106 marks in AIAPGET 2025 might be below the general category cutoff for top MD/MS (Ayurveda/Homeopathy/Unani) courses, but your admission chances depend on your category and the specialization you’re aiming for. If you belong to SC/ST/OBC or are looking into private colleges or less competitive branches, you still might have a chance. Keep checking official counseling rounds and don’t miss out on mop-up rounds where seats sometimes remain unfilled.

All the best!

good afternoon, based on your AIAPGET score of 106, your chances of getting a college depend heavily on your category and the type of institution you're targeting. For OBC, SC, and ST categories, 106 is exactly at the qualifying cutoff for Ayurveda PG courses, which means you are eligible to participate in the AACCC counselling process. While top government colleges may be competitive and require higher scores (often above 300 for General and around 260–295 for reserved categories)1, there are still private colleges, deemed universities, and state quota seats where you may have a realistic chance of admission.

Some colleges that have accepted lower scores in previous years include Madan Mohan Malviya Government Ayurved College, Udaipur, Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurved College, Bhopal, and R.A. Podar Ayurvedic Medical College, Mumbai. Additionally, private institutions like Parul University (Vadodara), Swasthya Kalyan Technical Campus (Jaipur),

If you got 106 marks in AIAPGET 2025 and you are from general or EWS category, then it is difficult to get a government college.

To get a seat in AIAPGET, you must qualify the exam by getting at least the 50th percentile if you are in the general or EWS category. Every year, the marks needed to qualify change a little. Last year, the qualifying score for general category was around 112 marks. So your 106 marks might be below the qualifying level.

If you do not qualify, then you cannot take part in counselling for government colleges. But some private colleges or deemed universities may take students with lower marks, especially in the last rounds if seats remain vacant.

You can still check your exact qualifying status on your scorecard once the result is declared. If you qualify, you can try for private AYUSH colleges.

As long as you have qualified the entrance exam, you can get a seat in a private medical college. You will have to settle for management quota, and it comes with huge fee.

Generally, for the general category, the AIAPGET qualifying marks are around 50th percentile, while for SC/ST/OBC, it's around 40th percentile. If your score falls within the qualifying percentile for your category, you have a good chance of getting a seat in some colleges, though the specific college may vary based on your rank and choices filled during counseling.
