Hy Raja,

Myself being an aspirant of aiims to get mbbs in the best colleges of India, i feel i can answer you better .

Cracking aiims is 1 of the toughest exam as aspirants are lakhs in no. So if you really wish to crack it, the amount of time you put will always be less than few others who are studing 18hrs/ day .

So it totally depends on your capacity of remembering or practising answers. Never overload your studies which will not be fruitful.

  • For biology , atleast try to study 4 to 5 hrs/day. As maximum waitage is always given to biology for mbbs exams. You need to be thorough and best in it. It should be your strong point.
  • For chemistry try to study practice organice, inorganic, physical as per your strength and weakness in 3 to 4 hours/day. Scoring in chemistry is really easy if your concepts are really clear.chemistry is all about only concepts and practice.
  • For physics , practice all type of questions for atleast 2 to 3 hrs/ day and be accurate with it.

You don't need to prepare for neet and aiims different as topics covered are almost same though aiims is a bit more conceptual and neet is theoretical.

Try to give 12 hrs daily bevause hard work will give you best results after as you are going to be a doctor and its not easy .

For aiims, before 2 months of exam, try to read 1 hr atleast some sort of general knowledge and logical resoning as it will help you out in aiims specially as 20/200 questions comes from that section even.

Do as per your capability and dont overburden yourself. Make a timetable and try to follow it and also try to get breaks during study.

Hope this helps you.

Good luck.

Hello dear student,

Greetings!

It depends on the kind of student you are , some students take 4 to 5 hours to complete a topic while someone else may take 1 complete day to cover the same topic , so it depends upon you that how much time you should put ; actually try to focus on completing topics every day rather than focusing on number of hours you study .

thankyou

This isn't a proper question brother. Hours dont matter especially when you are preparing for entrance examinations. Forget those school level theory exams now. Quality is much more important than quantity in professsional life studies. Make your concepts clear. It may take 1 hour for one person to clear a particular concept or even 10 hours for another person to clear that same concept. I'll suggest you list down the chapters of pcb, keep a fixed target, have some plan, execute it properly and then accordingly keep studying around 10-12 hours a day.

Best wishes. Thank you.

This was my first attempt in NEET and AIIMS also and I cleared both with flying colors and i choose AIIMS. Acc. To me Hours don't matter(this don't means you should study 2 or 3 hrs). The thing that matter is your dedication. I was totally focused on my studies the whole year. I stopped using social media, kept distance from friends and relatives, isolated myself for my goal. What to need is just to practice and practice. Don't leave a single second go waste. You shouldn't be studying with one eye on the watch. Whenever you have time read, learn, revise, practice.

Learning something is very hard, some topics took me weeks to get mastered. Don't get demotivated. Initially when i started coaching i was scoring around 220-260 in mock tests(average student) but slowly and steadily i reached 620-630 in mock tests by the last month. This slow progress will fill you up with confidence cuz you know what you have done the whole year.

Secondly, I was never interested in AIIMS, cuz when i thought of AIIMS my mind always told me "Aukat m reh kr sapne dekh" and i started to dream for average med" coll". But when i saw my AIIMS result(i don't know what to say, that moment was speech less) .....

Practice hard, again practice all the questions you have done wrong, then again. No one is born smart but you have to work hard day and night to achieve something.

Also never think that you need just a medical seat so a little less hardwork would be fine cuz comptetion is increasing day by day.

NEVER LEAVE UR STUDY 4 ANYTHING

Jin dosto ko tum 1 saal chodoge voh result k baad khud party k lye call krenge.

Best Of Luck
