Hello,

That’s a good and practical question. If you’re taking SP (Secretarial Practice) instead of Math in 11th and 12th, and later plan to study Math again , it might be a bit challenging to suddenly jump into advanced math (what you’re calling "13th maths", probably meaning degree-level or entrance prep math). SP is more of a theoretical subject related to commerce, and you won’t be practicing math regularly. So jumping into math-heavy subjects like engineering, data science, or economics could feel tough without recent practice.

You can definitely catch up by self-study or with coaching. Many students return to Math after a gap and do well by taking online courses or tuition.

But if Math is essential for your career plans, it’s better to keep it in 11th–12th itself. If not, and you're only going to need it at a basic level later, you can still manage with focused prep.

Thank you for reaching out!
