BHU offers an MBA program with 4 specialization.

Eligibility

For Admission in  in Banaras Hindu University candidates need to be graduate with at least 50% marks.

• Graduation under 10+2+3 pattern.
• Degree in Engineering, Agriculture, Medicine, Law or Education.
• Postgraduation in any discipline.

There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST Categories.

Admission Process

Admission to MBA will be based on Combined Merit acquired by a Candidate in CAT, Academic Record, Group Discussion and Interview.

1. Merit list of qualified candidates on the basis of CAT scores will be uploaded by BHU.
2. 50% weightage will be given to the CAT Score while calculating the merit for admission to the above Programs.
3. 20% weightage for academic records.
4. Qualified candidates will be called for group discussion and interview.
5. Group Discussion and Interview Score will be given 30% weightage.
6. Selected candidates will have to report to university with original documents for verification

The admission in MBA in BHU is based on merit in CAT.So a candidate must have appeared in CAT and qualify in it.Now the eligibility for CAT is that a candidate must have passed bachelor's degree from a recognized board or university.Candidates belonging to general category must have passed with atleast 50% equivalent CGPA and SC/ST must have passed with atleast 45% or its equivalent CGPA.

You cannot get admission based or merit in graduation.You need to appear in CAT.
