If I won't qualify in GATE (CE), then what should I do,job or Mtech?

Hi

It is all upto you, if you are interested to pursue higher studies then go for M. Tech. If you think you can study and crack GATE take one year off and study for GATE. If you dont want to spend one more year studying for GATE then you can always apply for Top priviate University in India. Private university in India conduct their own entrance test.

One more thing if you are GATE qualified and apply for priviate university AICTE provides you scholership of montly stipend 12400/- for 2 years. By getting a post graduate degree you always have a option of joining as Assistant Professor.

Now, when it comes to job there are not much jobs available in market for civil engineers. Though you can try applying. Big players like L&T, Hindustan, Tata hire only through college placement.

So it is all upto you what you want in your life
