If we participate in CSAB special round, and do not like any available choices, is there a way to retain the 7th round seat?

While participating in the special round of seat allotment your currently alloted seat in JOSAA will be retained in case you are not alloted any other seat during the special rounds. The currently alloted seat will not be available in the choice filling and will remain alloted in case no other seat is alloted. Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I understand that if no seat is allotted we still reatin the existing seat. But my actual question is, after registering for CSAB special round, if we donot like any available choices (this list is only available on the date after submmitting affidavit at the institute), can we skip filling any choices or lock our selected choice list with no options selected (as our existing seat is better than avilable ones), so that after round 1 we are definitely given the same seat as round 7 and we can freeze and choose that seat.
