Established in the year 1969, Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore is recognised for offering quality education in hospitality management. Initially, this institute was set up as a food crafting institute, which offered different short term courses to its students. In the year 1983, this institute got its present name, and it started to offer a 3-year-long degree in hospitality management. Presently, this institute is known as one of the premium institutes in the nation to offer hospitality management services. Candidates, who have cleared or are appearing for their pre-university/10+2 or equivalent, qualify to apply to this institute. The admission notification is available at the institute in January or February. Candidates applying to this institute have to pass the All-India Joint Entrance Examination organised by NCHM.
